A remodel can create access for better speaker placement, cable routes and home network connections. HES starts with the renovation scope and the equipment you want to keep, then considers how the technology will fit the finished room.
PLAN THE DETAILS
Separate open walls from finished spaces
Identify the walls, ceilings and cabinetry being changed. That shows where new wiring may be practical and where the plan needs to work around existing finishes. Include adjacent rooms if they share sources, controls or network equipment.
Set positions before closing the details
Review furniture, display height, speaker locations and shade clearance before finalizing surfaces. A new built-in or fireplace surround can affect mounting, access and cable entry. Discuss those decisions while the design can still respond.
Decide what earns a place in the new room
An existing receiver, television or speaker system may be worth retaining. Send model numbers so HES can review compatibility with new sources and controls. The goal is a coherent system rather than replacing every component by default.
Plan disruption and the return to use
Tell us which spaces need to remain usable during the renovation. Agree how removed equipment will be handled, what access is needed and which connections require checking when the room is ready. Installation timing depends on the work being completed around it.

Can AV work fit into a partial remodel?
Often the available access defines the options. Share exactly which areas are changing so we can assess whether the desired wiring and positions are practical.
